It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Around here, Christmas always seems to be associated with snow.
I love snow when I am warm and cozy in my house and don't have to leave for anything. It is so pretty when sitting inside. The minute you get outside, you remember how cold and wet snow is. You remember that people suddenly need to drive 20 miles an hour on the freeway, because of the snow.
This year the snow is going to be a lot less fun. It takes me like 10 minutes to get Alyssa buckled into her five point harness carseat backwards. If the car is wet, so is my butt because I am not coordinated enough to get Alyssa in without rubbing my backside on the car.
I have to admit we have been very lucky because the snow has waiting this long. It is usually here much earlier than this.
Oh yeah, still haven't gotten those three extra tires. Winter sucks!

I must say Im jealous!
We live in Wisconsin and besides ONE morning when we woke up to a little snow piled on our car we have not seen a single ounce of snow! NONE!
Christmas is next week and we have NO SNOW!
Enjoy it though, although I know it sucks, its so pretty!!
One of my old friends moved from Ohio to El Paso, Texas, two years ago. He got very excited last month because it snowed in the mountains down there, and he emailed us photos: snow on a rock, snow on a bush, snow on the road, him in front of a hill with snow... It was hilarious. I wrote him back and said, DO NOT SEND ME ANY MORE PICTURES OF SNOW--I CAN SEE IT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW, THANKS! But he's coming home this week to spend Christmas with his family and I already warned him that we have PLENTY of that white stuff waiting just for him. Maybe he'll make a snowman... heh :-P
