Strange how things change...
Alyssa had colic when in her first few months of life. I actually forgot about it until my sister-in-law told me that her new baby seems to be suffering from it. Then I remembered and of course freaked out already praying that this new baby does not get colicky. Ugghh, the horrible times of me crying because Alyssa wouldn't stop crying and wondering why I was such a bad mom that I couldn't even comfort my screaming baby.
Someone had told us that they had a colicky baby and the trick for them was a loud white noise, such as the vacuum cleaner or a hair dryer. Woudn't you know that worked for us too. We had even taken Gary's chargeable beard and mustache trimmer with us on the go in case of emergency (which happened). Those items were lifesavors for us, especially the vacuum.
Funny how things change when they get older, because Alyssa is TERRIFIED of the vacuum and today when I had to blow dry my hair with her awake and in the room, she cried tears. It is so strange how something that soothed her so much when she was little, she can't stand the sound of now.

Olivia was very collicky to when she was a baby. I just used tons of the baby gassy meds. Zachary on the other hand didn't have it hardely at all. He would fuss for a couple hours each night for maybe a month, but that was it. But it's funny cause Olivia hates the vaccuum to this day, and Zachary absolutely loves it!!! lol
Its funny how we forget those things until we see other tiny babies.
How's the pregnancy going? How do you feel? How's the garage?
Isn't it funny the things we forget. I was looking at "old" pictured of Lexie and totally forgot what a chunk of a baby she was. LOL.
Lex is terrified of the vacuum too. Yet, she used to love chasing it around. Hmmm.
That is hilarous!
The wind is howling here tonight...it reminds me of how you described the wind there in your last post. BRRRRR!
how funny is it that when I read Diane's comment, I thought she wrote, "if you put them IN the dryer..." LOL!
Grace is afraid of the vaccuum too. It sucks. As for white noise, we have this sound machine we have in her room that we put on at night. Seems to help her fall/stay asleep most of the time.
